flyer 2/17 @ 9AM in Wallace Building
In this workshop we'll explore a few different types of writing practices in videogames -- including branching dialog, interactive fiction, and emergent narrative. We'll analyze and deconstruct some examples from real games, and practice implementing some of our own dynamic & interactive texts. No programming experience is required (but it won't hurt). We'll learn the basics of the scripting language "Ink."

Jake Elliott is writer and co-creator of the award-winning videogame Kentucky Route Zero. He lives in Elizabethtown. http://dai5ychain.net/
